Ms. Levinson states: Jewels of Light are a code of sounds, composed in eight minor keys, created to clear the seven chakras or energies and move one into the eighth chakra or the new dimension of pure love and light.

The pieces (I like to call them “peaces”) started coming to me late last summer after being led to many books, recordings and videos about these human energy centers or chakras. Following years of studying various music therapies, I was instantly drawn to what I perceived to be an inherent musical or vibrational system each of us carries in our own being. I truly believe we each have the capacity to heal ourselves, to quiet our own souls, through the use of specific vibrations or sounds; maybe these specific sounds. I have practiced various music therapy techniques in many different environments - with emotionally and physically disturbed children, using drumming with deaf children and adults, working with the elderly, with my private students in addressing many issues, and, of course, with myself, as I was my very first client, learning to soothe my own mind and soul through playing and composing music.

I am deeply humbled by these new creations. Each of these offerings was only “written down” by me. I felt more like a stenographer than a composer. If I had composed them, if I had “thought” about them, I surely would have made them much more complicated. I feel deeply blessed to have received these gifts and am honored to have the opportunity to share them with you. May you be moved by the gentleness and simplicity of these Jewels of Light as much as I have been and may you awaken your own inner rainbow.
